the room of our hostel was not much bigger than the bed itself. At least the bed was elevated so we had storage room underneath it :-)

there is a free light show in Victoria Harbour every evening at 8PM.
going from Tsim Sha Tsui to downtown by ferry was only 0,2€ - public transportation is ridiculously cheap in HK
everything in HK is high - even the trams have 2 levels.
our necks hurt quite often as we were looking up so much
despite the countless skyscrapers Hong Kong was very colorful with green parks and lots of (street) art
after half a year we were happy to eat a Brezel again :-)

as we both grew up in small towns it was very hard for us to image to live with thousands of neighbours in one gigantic skyscraper

parts of the dragon are so golden because everybody entering the temple touches it for good luck
this temple was so peaceful and quiet that you could even forget you are in a immensely big city
because the appartments are so small the people even dry their clothes on a handrail in the street
almost all the scaffolds were made of Bamboo - which at least for us made them seem pretty scary

in HK the taxis are colour-coded - red for urban areas, green for the New Territories, and blue for south Lantau Island - and always the same model "Toyota Crown Comfort"
